This one seems oh so obvious, yet a comment from a customer in one of our stockists prompted us to add it to our list of ‘ingredients we avoid’.
Synthetic colours
When someone suggested that we should colour our products to differentiate between the scents, we were quite taken aback.
They might make products look pretty, but they can contain cancer-causing ingredients and we certainly avoid them. They may contribute to illnesses like ADHD and hyperactivity – even if they are not consumed but simply used on the skin (the skin is our biggest organ after all).
Look for FD&C or D&C on your labels.
